Tide AS is part of the Mobility platform.
The Group is a leading mobility provider in both Norway and Denmark, operating companies within scheduled bus services, light rail operations, charter, airport, and express bus services. With more than 20,000 daily departures and nearly 150 million passengers annually, Tide delivers safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly travel by bus and light rail.The company’s roots date back to 1880. Today, with more than 5,500 employees, a fleet of 2,400 buses, and 34 light rail vehicles in Bergen, Tide combines solid experience with forward-looking solutions.
Tide takes clear social responsibility and is strongly committed to sustainability. By 2026, 37% of the fleet will be zero-emission buses. As DSD’s largest investment, the company is strategically positioned to drive the green transition in public transport.

DSD Shipping
The Shipping platform consists of DSD Shipping and Baltic Line.
DSD Shipping owns three MR product tankers as well as two intermediate product tankers in partnership. The vessels operate in the spot market through pool agreements. The MR tankers are modern and among the most environmentally friendly in the industry, while continuous energy efficiency measures are being implemented across the fleet.
Baltic Line operates three side-port vessels in liner traffic in the Baltic and North Sea regions, transporting cargo for Scandinavian industrial clients. The line has been in operation for more than 40 years, with its headquarters in Stavanger and a branch office in Finland.

DSD’s tourism and events platform is operated through DSD Explore.
The company develops and invests in travel and event businesses that create activities, attract visitors to Norway, and ensure local value creation.The portfolio includes both established and niche players, such as the event agency Z Event, the activity company XXLofoten, Crazy Coyote in Trondheim, the travel company Fjord Travel Norway, and the communications agency Y Story.
With interdisciplinary expertise, DSD Explore connects tourism, events, and communications across both consumer and corporate markets. Its ambition is to turn year-round tourism into reality – not just theory – by creating concepts and experiences that deliver lasting value for both guests and local communities.

The DSD Travel Tech platform brings together companies that deliver advanced booking, packaging, and payment solutions for travel industry operators, including ferries, buses, and high-speed vessels. The platform consists of Bilberry Technologies, Mobitech, Ferry Systems, and Dotnet Mentor – companies that jointly develop technology making it simple to book, manage, and complete journeys, while providing operators with efficient tools for operations and customer management.
With strong technological expertise and deep industry knowledge, DSD Travel Tech helps simplify complex processes, create seamless customer experiences, and drive the development of tomorrow’s digital travel solutions.

The DSD Geospatial platform consists of Field – a leading Nordic company within data collection, data processing, surveying, property services, and geodata digitalization.
The company combines technological precision with broad expertise to deliver geospatial services that form the foundation for everything from infrastructure projects to urban development and environmental mapping.
Headquartered in Oslo, with offices across several Norwegian cities, Field has a strong national presence. In addition, international offices in Stockholm, Helsinki, Tartu, and Madrid provide access to new markets and strengthen global delivery capacity.
Through DSD Geospatial, Field is strategically positioned to be a key partner in the digitalization of land and resource management – and to shape the geospatial solutions of the future.

DSD Future Platforms is the Group’s newest initiative – a platform dedicated to identifying, developing, and scaling future-oriented companies across a wide range of industries. It is where the foundation for the next major innovation is laid, providing space for idea development, testing, and growth.
As a family-owned group with a solid capital base, DSD has the ability to take a long-term approach to new concepts and business models. The platform is currently being built, with the ambition to attract entrepreneurs and technology companies capable of reshaping their industries.

Over the course of its 30-year history, Baltic Line has had various owners. In 2017 it was established a separate company following the sale of Nor Lines to Samskip.

DSD Explore develops tourism and invests in local communities.
The company is active owner in event and activity companies that serve both the private and business market. The main focus is to contribute to the development of the subsidiaries. This is done by cultivating autonomy and strong brands, while at the same time offering the necessary resources to streamline operations, sales and development.
The companies under DSD Explore are spread over various destinations in Norway. The main seat is in Bergen.

The Bergen-based start-up imove, founded in 2018, offers customers the chance to subscribe to an electric car without any tie-in period, change car when they want to and make use of a bigger car on occasions when the electric car doesn’t meet their needs. The company also offers customers zero-emission electric scooters and other innovative mobility solutions. DSD acquired an ownership interest in imove in 2020.

Zinus
The Bømlo-based start-up Zinus was founded in 2018. The company offers innovative shore power solutions including autonomous charging for ships, developed by LOS. Zinus’ products are designed to blend in visually and take up little space on quays and in ports. Since they create zero emissions, they can play an important role in making the maritime sector greener. Zinus is experiencing growing demand for its sustainable solutions. DSD acquired an ownership interest in Zinus in the spring of 2020.

Beyonder
Beyonder was established in Stavanger in 2016 and develops and produces battery cells for a new type of energy storage solution with higher power, fast charging, long service life for industrial use. Using superactive carbon made from sawdust from the Norwegian forest industry, Beyonder produces battery cell technology for tomorrow's green infrastructure. Beyonder aims to realize the world's first truly sustainable battery cell technology, and the technology has the potential to become a new zero-emission solution that the whole world can benefit from. DSD joined the ownership side of Beyonder in 2020.

RAYVN develops and delivers crisis and incident management software. The tool enables organizations to quickly mobilize their resources, coordinate their actions, and communicate effectively during events. With the main focus on high user-friendliness and low user threshold, the tool has been used in a number of different sectors and organizations of various sizes from large complex events. RAYVN was established in Bergen in 2017 and is also headquartered here. Despite the company's short history, it has experienced significant international success, with solid growth in both Europe and the United States. DSD joined the ownership side in Rayvn at the beginning of 2021.

Bilberry Technologies
Bilberry is developed by and for activity companies. Behind Bilberry are DSD, GoFjords and XXLofoten, and Bilberry offers a software that manages everything from keeping track of customer follow-up and bookings, to managing resources and finances at activity companies. Bilberry was established in 2020, and already has several large Norwegian activity companies on the customer list.

Ferdia
Ferdia, founded in 2016 as a start-up company, has developed a future-oriented technological solution that offers the co-operation and sharing of transport within the tour bus industry. It's ambitions are to digitize and revamp the ride-hailing industry through an Uber-like approach. The common denominator behind Ferdia's mobility solutions is that the bus's accessibility should be visible and easy to use for users via new technology. Reducing empty driving and increasing the utilisation of the bus's capacity will bring benefits to the environment, customers and bus companies alike.

Field is a technology company transforming geospatial data into valuable insights. They deliver a complete geospatial solution from data capture and data processing to analysis and interactive visualization. Their precise insights help organizations build and maintain safe and efficient infrastructure for communities across the Nordics and beyond — such as keeping road networks safe and operational, preserving marine and forest habitats, and constructing quality buildings, bridges, and tunnels. The company has 300 employees in five countries and offers aerial surveying, land surveying, mapping and modeling, mobile mapping and geophysics, interactive software, and land and property consultancy services. DSD joined the ownership of Field in 2021 and became the majority owner in 2024.

Tidewave R&D is a health technology company that develops and commercializes aids for users with disabilities. Tidewave R&D was established in 2017, and in 2020, the company launched its first product, the Tidewave reversible mattress.
The mattress looks like a regular foam mattress, but when screwed on it will slowly bend and turn the user of the mattress up to 30 degrees to each side. The movements are so slow and quiet that the person lying in the mattress can sleep continuously while getting the necessary turn.
The technology means that one can both prevent and treat pressure injuries, and relieves health personnel and relatives from heavy lifting.
An increasing wave of elderly people and the associated shortage of health personnel means that routine tasks such as this must be automated in order to provide good treatment for patients while at the same time taking care of health workers. -
Fish4Pets
Fish4Pets
Fish4Pets sells award winning, marine-based food for dogs and cats to customers in over 35 countries.
The Company is based and headquartered in Worcestershire, England, while production takes place in multiple locations, including FKRA`s factory in Hillevåg outside Stavanger.
Fish4Pet's products are sustainable in practice in that the feed for pets is produced from cuts from fish instead of being waste. DSD joined Fish4Pets in February 2022, and owns the company together with the cooperative company Felleskjøpet Rogaland Agder.

Minuendo AS is a Norwegian company established in 2018 that develops and produces hearing protection. Hearing loss is the most commonly reported occupational disease in Europe, and is considered the most important cause of the elderly developing dementia.
Minuendo's first product was launched in 2020 and is today sold globally online. The target group is mainly musicians who need to protect their hearing from loud noise. The unique thing about Minuendo's products is that they measure the noise level towards the eardrums, and automatically notify the user to what extent the noise is harmful. This allows the user to change behavior and prevent hearing damage. DSD joined the ownership side of Minuendo in 2022.. -

Asistobe AS utvikler et innsiktsverktøy for optimalisering av kollektivnettverk. Gjennom å kombinere ulike datakilder for mobilitet i en region koblet med demografisk utvikling, benytter selskapet AI-algoritmer og maskinlæring til å predikere en optimal linjestruktur og tidstabell. Kunden får tilgang til et eget verktøy hvor de kan jobbe videre med optimalisering basert på egne KPIer, kostnadsstrukturer, inntektsstrukturer, miljøparametre med mer. Asistobe visualiserer «AS IS-situasjonen» og predikerer «TO BE».

Som totalleverandør produserer, installerer og drifter Salarsafe haisikringssystemer tilpasset norske akvakulturinstallasjoner. DSD kom inn på eiersiden i Salarsafe i 2022.

Selskapet Swipload tilbyr en digital programvare skreddersydd til å forenkle hverdagen til aktører med partifraktbehov i hverdagen.
Swipload sin forretningside gjør at vareeiere, befraktere og transportører kan kommunisere med hverandre på en enklere, raskere og mer oversiktlig måte. Ved å utnytte kraften i moderne digitale tjenester, skapes merverdi til brukeren ved å legge til rette for en bærekraftig og mer effektiv arbeidshverdag. Swipload lanserte tjenesten sin i 2020, og har hovedkontor i Kristiansand. DSD kom inn på eiersiden i Swipload i april 2021. -

Mobitech is a Norwegian technology company that was founded in 1988. Since then, the company has been a supplier of leading solutions to the market for ferries, express boats and buses. Did you know, for example, that when someone takes a photo of your license plate when you take a car ferry in Norway it is because the image of your license plate is linked to your payment? That solution has been developed by mobitech.

Resani develops technology that revolutionizes how hospitals and healthcare institutions work with hand hygiene. The aim of the technology is to work towards a future free of hospital bacteria. It will help save lives and reduce sickness absence and strengthen basic staffing at health institutions. DSD joined Resani in the spring of 2023.

Barde Software AI
Barde Software AI
BBarde Software AI is a software company that has developed a digital system for fleet management of buses and construction machinery. Located with 10 employees in Stavanger, they have developed a system to document and plan maintenance, driver notifications, cleaning, EU controls, purchasing processes and to document that buses/vehicles have the correct standard at all times. The system contributes to energy savings, and Barde's customers have estimated at least 10% lower diesel consumption when using Barde's digital tools. The potential for energy efficiency is achieved i.a. through better machine and transport planning and less idling. At the same time, increased uptime is ensured, and thus more efficient and predictable operation. Several of the country's largest construction contractors are on Barde's customer list.
